Lessons and Tests in Online Education Schools

Lessons and Tests in Online Education Schools

When you apply for an online degree course be prepared to do everything online. There are some institutes that have occasional contact programs in the form of seminars and workshops, but that may not always be the case. In any case, the bulk of the teaching and the tests are done online.

As soon as you enroll into the institute, you will get their course material, usually one lesson or one module at a time. They will give you an author's account from where you will get the download link. You can download the lesson and store it on your computer or, better, print it. These lessons will mostly be in the PDF format.

You will get the lessons frequently enough, though some online institutes insist that you appear for an evaluative test and pass it in order to get the next lesson or module. This test is again conducted online.

You will get an online question paper to fill out, which will mostly be in the "choose the correct alternative" format. There can also be lengthy papers that you will need to type out, mostly for the more complicated courses. Evaluation can be instant or take a few days, depending on the level of complexity of the questions.

All information on your credits, performance scores, assignments, etc. is stored in your author's account which will be considered before awarding you the final certificate.
